Dear Secular Carmelites,
June in the life of our beloved Holy Catholic Church.
I see we celebrate a plethora of great feast days. The Ascension of the Lord. Pentecost Sunday. The most Holy Trinity. The Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Immaculate Heart of Mary and more. So much, Lord, your gifts and blessings overwhelm us. Praise Be.
Remembering recent days where we have shared with the whole world through television and on-line, the moving holy ceremonies in Rome and realising anew the treasure of our gratuitously received faith.
Remembering the prayers of the Church raised to our Heavenly Father in petition for a successor to Peter, and the response: Pope Leo XIV. All these gifts from your loving Sacred Heart, oh Lord. Glory be to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In a spirit of gratitude for graces, blessings and gifts received, let us pray to the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us in these elections, granting us good judgement and listening hearts, that we might respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and be generous in accepting to serve our Community if called to do so.
