October: Dedicated to the Holy Rosary

Dear sisters and brothers in Carmel,

It’s October! A special month dedicated to The Holy Rosary; and it is extra special for us as we celebrate the Feast days of St Thérèse of the Child Jesus (1st Oct), and our beloved Foundress St Teresa of Jesus (15th Oct). May God continue to shower His blessings and protection over us.

Please note three other special events coming up in October:

• The Beatitudes’ ‘St Thérèse Rose Petal Evening’. Friday 2nd October, 7-9pm, at St Teresa’s Church

• Deacon Tang Anthony Phan’s ordination to the priesthood. Saturday, 10th October, 11am, at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral

• Maryfest. Sunday 11th October, 2pm, at Church of Our Lady of Victories

We are on track with our preparation for our forthcoming retreat in November; the response to it has been very encouraging. Please continue to keep this event in your prayers. Thank you.

Your prayers are needed too for the defeat of the referendum for End of Life Choice and Legalise Cannibis. Please pray for one another and for those who have asked for our prayers.
